Import & Export · Mumbai, India
Ocean, air, customs and project cargo handled by one desk — from booking through to destination delivery, with the documentation done right the first time.
01 / SERVICES
Every shipment sits with a named coordinator who owns it from enquiry to proof of delivery. Pick a mode to see what is included, typical transit and the paperwork we handle for you.
Direct contracts with mainline and NVOCC carriers out of Nhava Sheva, Mundra and Chennai. Equipment secured before we quote, so the booking holds.
Weekly consolidation boxes priced on chargeable CBM, with a clear cut-off calendar so you know the sailing you are on.
For cargo where a day matters: samples, spares and urgent replenishment. Consol and direct options ex Mumbai, Chennai and Delhi, outbound and inbound.
The part that delays most shipments. We file it ourselves, in India and through vetted brokers at destination, and we tell you what is missing before it becomes a detention charge.
Plant, machinery and anything that will not fit a box. Survey first, plan second, move third — with the lashing drawing and route survey on file before a wheel turns.
Space near the gateway, so cargo waits where it is cheap to wait. Bonded and non-bonded options with stock visibility you can actually reconcile.
Ocean freight
Every booking held against a named sailing.
Equipment secured before we quote, one coordinator who owns the file, and a status at every step from gate-in to delivery.
02 / TRADE LANES
Where our rates and schedules are strongest. Not on the list? We quote it anyway — the agency network reaches well past the main ports.

03 / HOW IT RUNS
A file moves through the same eight stages every time, whichever direction it travels. You get a status against each one, so you always know which step your cargo is sitting on.
Commodity, HS code, Incoterm and ready date in. All-in rate with inclusions and exclusions out.
Carrier allocation secured against a named sailing or flight. Booking note issued to you.
Empty container placed at factory, or cargo lifted to CFS. Trailer planned around your loading slot.
Stuffed under supervision, photographed, sealed. Lashing certificate where the cargo needs one.
Shipping Bill filed on ICEGATE, queries handled in person, examination attended at the port.
Cargo gated in before cut-off. Sailing confirmed with vessel, voyage and ETA.
B/L or AWB released, originals couriered or surrendered. Bank set matched to your LC terms.
Agent clears, delivers and confirms. On DDP we carry it all the way to the consignee's door.
Supplier details, commodity, HS code and Incoterm in. Landed cost with duty estimate out.
Our agent at origin books the vessel or flight and collects from your supplier's factory.
Invoice, packing list and certificate of origin verified before despatch, not after arrival.
Vessel, voyage and ETA confirmed. Pre-alert sent to you with the full document set.
Arrival notice tracked, IGM checked, delivery order collected from the line on time.
BOE filed on ICEGATE, duty computed and paid, classification queries answered.
Customs examination attended in person, out-of-charge obtained, detention avoided.
De-stuffed at CFS or moved direct, and delivered inland on our own trucks.
One file, one desk
From the factory gate to the consignee’s door.
Export or import, sea or air — the same eight steps, the same coordinator, and the paperwork done in-house.
04 / REQUEST A RATE
Fill this in and it writes a complete enquiry on the right — exactly the details our desk needs to quote without a round of questions. Send it by email in one click.
05 / WHY US
Four things exporters tell us they stay for.
No handoff between a sales person and an operations person. The coordinator who quoted you is the one who gates your container in.
Our own B/L for United States trade, which keeps US-bound shipments compliant and your documentation under one roof.
Customs filing, licences, drawback and preferential-origin paperwork done by our own team — not sub-contracted and chased later.
Speedex Trans runs its own fleet across India, so the first and last mile is not a stranger's problem.

06 / FAQ
Straight answers before you pick up the phone. Anything else, the desk is a call or a message away.
Yes. Ocean, air and customs clearance run in both directions — exports out of Indian ports and airports, and imports cleared on arrival and delivered to your door. See the Export and Import tracks under How it runs.
Origin, destination, commodity, the HS code if you know it, volume or equipment, your Incoterm and the cargo ready date. The brief builder collects exactly that and sends it to us in one click.
Typically your IEC, commercial invoice and packing list, with the Shipping Bill filed on ICEGATE. Depending on the cargo and destination you may also need a certificate of origin or a licence. We check the set before filing, not after a query.
On chargeable CBM or weight/measure, whichever is higher, with a minimum of 1 CBM. Cut-off dates are published weekly so you know which sailing you are on.
Yes — by sea under IMDG with packing certificates, and by air with an IATA DGR declaration. Tell us the class in your brief and we will confirm acceptance with the carrier.
Yes, on DDU and DDP terms. The road leg inside India runs on our sister company Speedex Trans, so the first and last mile stays in the group.
No. They are typical port-to-port times. Carrier schedules change, so we confirm the sailing or flight and its transit at the time of booking.
