LR

Every consignment on a Lorry Receipt

The LR is our consignment note, issued at booking. It records the consignor and consignee, origin and destination, number of packages, weight, the vehicle number and the seal number. Quote the LR number to the control room to check status — the signed LR copy comes back as your proof of delivery.

What is the difference between full load and part load?

Full truck load gives your consignment a dedicated vehicle, direct from pickup to delivery with no handling in between. Part load shares a scheduled vehicle on our trunk routes — you pay for the weight or volume you use, and it is consolidated at our hubs.

Which areas do you cover?

Our own branches run across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu & Kerala, with onward coverage into Rajasthan, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir. See the branch network for every city.

Which vehicle should I book?

Tell us the weight and the number of packages and we will advise. As a guide, our rack runs from a Tata Ace at about 1 tonne to a 32 ft multi-axle at 18–21 tonnes — see the fleet.

How do I check where my consignment is?

Call the control room with your LR number. They confirm the current status and the expected delivery directly.

How do you keep cargo secure in transit?

Vehicles are sealed at loading and opened at delivery, and the seal numbers are recorded on the consignment note.

Can you take export cargo to the port?

Yes. We move cargo from your factory to Nhava Sheva or Mundra, co-ordinated with our sister company Speedex Global so the container makes its cut-off.
